Learning & Development

Hands-On Mathematical Learning

Physical impressions of size and quantity are established early on in the child's journey through mathematical evaluation. Children evaluate the concept of numbers through counters, number rods and counting beads. Counting bears are also used to introduce the concept of comparisons and size.

When children are ready they are introduced to the more advanced numerical concepts of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, always through engaging, play-based methods that make mathematics accessible and enjoyable.
